When you’re on vacation, the thing you do most is certainly taking photos! On my last trip, I sure did a lot of that. I admit that I missed some good opportunities and I would have liked to have captured during my trip. Here are the iPhone accessories that I would have liked to have to take more beautiful pictures and videos.
A WIDE-ANGLE LENS FOR IPHONE
One of the things we take the most pictures of are the landscapes. It can be a view of an assembly line, some mountains, an island in the ocean, etc. And sometimes, we manage to take some very beautiful pictures, but sometimes it happens that we can not capture the whole view in the same picture. So we have to take the scenery in several photos or take it in panoramic mode!
The other solution is to opt for is a wide-angle lens. As its name suggests, you will be able to increase the field of vision of the camera of the iPhone and take a picture with a much wider field of vision. This can be extremely useful for photographing landscapes!
A MACRO LENS FOR IPHONE
During my trip, I visited a botanical garden and there were many beautiful flowers. I took some pictures of course, but I thought that if I had a macro lens for iPhone, I could have taken much more beautiful pictures like those shown below.
To put it simply, the macro lens allows you to zoom in on extremely close subjects (a bit like a microscope). This allows for really impressive details. So this is an iPhone accessory that I can not wait to receive and use also!

What I really needed is an accessory that allows you to zoom without losing quality from my iPhone. At the top, something I really like to do is take videos in slow motion. Seriously, I’m really a big fan of this mode! my only concern is that the slow-motion videos with the iPhone are in 720p. If you are very close to an object then it’s ok, there is not too much trouble (for the amateur like me). But if I want to take a picture of an object that is a bit far, I have to zoom in with the iPhone just to see and the quality drops very quickly.
To correct this problem, you will need to get a zoom lens.

Another thing that I like a lot is to make time lapse with the iPhone (accelerate videos). By the way, it’s quite funny, because for a long time I told myself that this function was completely useless! I did not understand what it was for and it was impossible to use an accelerated video to film someone or something short enough. In fact, I just did not understand that the time lapse was to film things that have a slow movement, but especially for a very long time.
It becomes so impressive if we take time-lapse to film – clouds several hours – traffic several hours – the sunrise or the sunset – Etc.
And suddenly, as it should ideally stay still during the video, it must, of course, a tripod! The one that I like personally is this one.

Of course, for each accessory, there are different models and especially different sizes. Personally, I am light years away from being a professional photographer. And most importantly, it does not interest me to carry a ton of superimposing and complicated accessories and trying to take the best pictures of the whole world. I love taking photos and videos with my iPhone (which is always in my pocket) and I like taking pictures of everyday life. Therefore, I wanted to have only small accessories that I can put in my little bag without being overloaded.
